X-WR-CALDESC:DESCRIPTION:\n\nKids with tough beginnings have to navi
gate so many challenges and unknowns as part of their everyday lives\, but
oftentimes don't have the tools and relationship bonds that adults have t
o help them navigate these. As a result\, kids often react to the stress o
r tension by withdrawing\, acting out\, getting hostile\, or spiraling int
o anxiety or emotional upset. Fortunately\, just like when we're strugglin
g ourselves\, it often takes just a moment of support from someone in thei
r corner to help them get their bearings back. This presentation will prov
ide a better understanding of how caregivers and helping professionals can
support kids struggling with life's uncertainties in a way that brings ou
t their natural resilience. \n\nSPEAKER:\n\nErika Bugbee earned a b

about helping others who are struggling to feel a sense of connection\, re
