Behavior 101 (Webinar)

This presentation will take a look at the field of Applied Behavior Analysis and how Behavior Analysts understand and approach behavior. Behavior Analysts conduct many assessments and rely on data to guide their interventions. This is very helpful for children with extreme behavioral challenges and/or children who primarily communicate through behavior. The audience will learn how to identify the functions of behavior as the first step to changing behavior. The presentation will end by reviewing strategies and interventions for changing behavior based on the results of the assessments conducting.

Objectives:
1. Discuss the field of Applied Behavior Analysis
2. Identify the functions of behavior and how they serve the individual
3. Review general strategies and interventions for behavioral change
