Description: Join APAC to learn more about the process of adopting from foster care!
Currently, there are more than 300 children in foster care in Alabama who are awaiting a loving and caring adoptive home. Many have never felt the warmth and joy that comes from a forever family. Most have been placed in agency custody due to parental neglect or physical abuse. The good news is that the lives of these children can be brightened forever by just one person - YOU! APAC believes recruitment is a vital part of achieving permanency for those children in foster care who are waiting to be adopted. APAC is able to provide full support to all prospective waiting families. This support begins with the initial call from a prospective family and continues throughout the process to post adoption services. Join us at our next free orientation meeting to learn more.
