Package #1:  Painting by Allison Quinton Bliss, “Lady Liberty,” Oil and Acrylic 

A "Splash of Bliss" is the way Birmingham artist, Allison Bliss, approaches her works of art, from the flowing splashes of color in her continuing painted series in acrylic mediums, "The Guitar" to the color movement of the "Lights Magic" and "Ala Nostalgic Collages."  The friendly cloud like gesture on a faux painted ceiling in the home of Brook Valley Farms is magic in itself.  Miss Bliss also has unique view for photography turning that view finder into a canvas that is pleasing to the eye. 

Package #2: Rock Climbing with Mountain High Outfitters & $200 Gift Card for Pants Store  

You will receive a spot in 'Intro to Rock Climbing' AND a pair of Chaco sandals or flips priced up to $95.00. Our introduction course will get you outside climbing on beautiful southern sandstone. On this day trip you will climb (top-rope), and learn basic climbing techniques. This is an introduction to the basics of technical rock climbing, including equipment and safety procedures. This trip goes to Palisades, AL or Sandrock, AL (weather dependant). Our minimum age is 13. Under age 18, children climbing must be accompanied by a parent.

Package #3: Painting by Stutts Everette, Untitled, Oil and Acrylic

Stutts graduated from Tulane University where he was a Studio Art Major.  His studies emphasized painting and drawing, under Ronna Harris, and glass blowing under Gene Koss.  Stutts exhibits his art locally in Birmingham at Monty Stabler Galleries and has been commissioned for private collections in Austin, New Orleans, New York, and South Carolina.

Package #5: John Farrer, Limestone and Stainless Steel Vase

 An avid naturalist and life-long collector of Native American artifacts, Farrer found inspiration from the stories and land in the foot hills of the Smoky Mountains where he was raised. As diverse as his materials is his variety of media. His relatively small woodcuts and large sculptures show a refined, elegance of line. His paintings often have a tactile quality usually found in sculpture.

A self-taught artist, Farrer’s background has prepared him for work in small and massive scale. By trade, he is a master machinist and has designed and manufactured intricate medical test equipment and subassemblies for the Apollo 11 lunar landing craft as well as replacements for huge assembly line machinery for Huntsville’s defense contractors.

Package #6: Private Dinner Party in Your Home 

Do you love to host dinner parties, but like to enjoy your parties too? Allow Chef Matthew Dyer, formerly of daniel george Restaurant, to cook dinner for 6 in the comfort of your own home.

Package #7: Mountain Retreat in Sewanee

Package #10: Painting by Maralyn Wilson  

Maralyn works primarily in encaustic, a wax base painting medium. Encaustic is an ancient technique first used by the Phoenicians to preserve and seal the wood of their ships. 

In her paintings, this process involves painting with hot wax and fusing layers of wax with a heat gun. The layering effect is further enhanced using color pigment, golf leaf, and rice paper.

Package #11: Week-long Stay in Seacrest Beach

Stay in Seacrest Beach, FL December 1-8, 2008.  This 3- bed/ 3-bath home is great for a family vacation! There is a kitchenette on the second floor plus many more amenities that will make your stay an incredible one.

 Seacrest Beach, Florida is a hidden paradise that begins after the big bend in the road on Scenic Highway 30-A. The road still follows the gulf here, and passes through areas with an up-close view of just how wild and dense the coastal scrub can get. Suddenly, rising out of the dunes, is the residential community of Seacrest.

Seacrest Beach is a new beach community made up of cottages and condominiums hidden behind natural dunes and is located on the south end of Beaches of South Walton, between Watersound and Rosemary Beach.

Package #12: Child Photography Session by William F. Dickey, II

William F. Dickey, II, Photographer, has been shooting corporately for 15 years, 10 years wedding photography. He has recently started Oliva Photo with his colleague, Beth Hontzas, specializing in wedding photography.

Wil utilizes his ability to capture children in a photojournalistic style.  The photo session will involve coming to the child's house, photographing the child in their own environment. This is to capture the child being a child, comfortable in normal surroundings, such as napping, playing, eating, etc. The setting is entirely up to the parents.  The session takes approximately 1-3 hours of time. All images are shot digitally in black and white. The winner will have full right to the images, as well as receive 10 5 x 7 prints.

Rosalie Giattina will cook dinner for your family once a month for one year and deliver it to your home!
