Regional Coordinator/Family Counselor (posted 07/08)

  • Description:
    Provide services to adoptive families for Alabama Pre/Post Adoption Connections.  Travel required.  This position is based in Mobile, AL.
  • Qualifications include:
    Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling, licensed as LCSW or LPC.  Minimum of  5 years experience with adoptive and foster families.  Casework/counseling experience, good assessment and communication skills, supervision experience, workshop presentations, ability to work with a team approach, and cultural proficiency.  Must have reliable automobile, valid AL driver's license and auto insurance, clearance with the Alabama Central Registry on Child Abuse and Neglect, and/or other clearances that may be legally mandated or authorized.

  • Description:
    Provides supervision and basic living skills training to young mothers and their children in the Moms and Babies program.  Provides transportation, family support, on-call duties.  Schedule must be flexible.  This position is based in Birmingham, AL.
  • Qualifications include:
